At Roots and Shoots we have a number of quality, flexible spaces available to hire. This includes four interior meeting and function rooms, a courtyard and other outside social areas. Guests from venue hires are welcome to explore the grounds of our beautiful site, with the option to take a garden tour. Below is more information about each available room.

There is highly limited availability for bookings outside of normal operating hours.
All income generated from venue hire is reinvested back into Roots and Shoots to support our charitable aims.
Due to this, Roots and Shoots does not charge VAT. No prices within this form include VAT.

Refreshments and catering are available. Excellent vegetarian catering comes straight from our own kitchen, with ingredients grown in the gardens, while also providing hospitality and catering training for Roots and Shoots’ students.
Laptop hire available. Flip charts available.
The Main Hall is ideal for conferences, training sessions, business events, corporate seminars, away day special functions and other gatherings.
The Main Hall is fitted with a 66 inch TV, PA and loop systems and access to Wifi. A laptop is also available to hire to connect to the TV.
Ample ventilation through 2 doors and a bay of openable windows on the mezzanine level. There are also blackout blinds on all windows.
Main Hall guests can use the courtyard directly outside, where there is still a strong Wifi signal.

The Garden Room is a newly refurbished upstairs space located close to the Main Hall in a reconditioned 19th-century building with lots of daylight and openable windows for ventilation. It is suitable for smaller meetings, seminars and lessons.
Comes with Wifi and a large TV as part of the package
Often used in conjunction with the main hall as light, pleasant break-out spaces
Unfortunately, this space is not wheelchair accessible, all other spaces within our grounds are accessible if you have this requirement.

The Meadow Room is a newly refurbished ground floor space located close to the Main Hall in a reconditioned 19th-century building suitable for smaller meetings, seminars and lessons.

For interested venue hire clients, a member of our team can provide a private tour of the site and gardens, highlighting some of our most beautiful views in the Wild Garden, telling the fascinating history of the site and showing what we do at Roots and Shoots.
